Planting seeds is a hands-on way to teach kids about the life cycle of plants. Grade one had the opportunity to learn about seed germination with this fun science experiment. They planted some seeds and followed the growth of the seedlings as they sprouted from the soil while making sure to take proper care of them with just the right amount of light, heat and water. Students ended the project with a young plant that decorated their classroom.
